Tatay & Nanay on vacation at Nueva Viscaya (Feb 2008)
Tatay & Nanay in identical colors. Notice the Provincial Capital Building in the background? What are those artificial fowers in the entrance canopy for?
a century old church serving as backdrop to nanay & aunt Baby.
Young once, all in a row. That's Uncle Phil, Aunt Daleng, Aunt Baby & nanay
Nanay and Aunt Daleng beside exotic handcarved Igorot images.

In a Child's Vocabulary...
Isn't he the smartest?
One time, all aboard the car, while tatay was driving, my nephew igy asked him "tatay, anu ibig sabihin ng puta?" (grandpa, what do you mean by whore?") Before tatay could reply, the youngest rojo blurted out "kuya, ibig sabihin puta e pag may nabagsak!" (brother, it means when you accidentally dropped something!). When asked to explain further, rojo said " because when nanay (grandma) would drop something, she would always say "ay puta!"

Divisoria- A shopper's haven or nightmare?
If you are looking for reasonably priced items, then Divisoria is for you. If you're the type of person who would not mind brushing elbows, as in literally brushing elbows with folks from different social classes, your few hundreds will go a long long way. A nice tops would only cost couple of hundreds when the same would fetch for a thousand already outside Divisoria. Imported items are abundant at such attractive prices. There are airconditioned malls within for better convenience and stalls and shops in the open for the really cheapest finds.
Divisoria is not without its downsides. When shopping, you better hold on to your purse, bags and belongings and you have to be alert or you risk of being held up, swindled or shortchanged. And don't you ever get fooled by gucci, prada, LV and some other immitations! Surely, a true Prada would not cost that cheap! But, really, some shoppers do know the difference but buy they do! Those look almost like the real thing..
